2013 and Beyond!

Here we are in the month of November of 2013.  I have said before I would come back to my baby blog, and then have neglected to do so; so I won't make any promises this time except for saying I will attempt to blog more regularly.

From a family standpoint, Brayden is in 1st Grade now!  I can hardly believe it myself.  I started this blog to originally document all of his life happenings, and without planning it turned into a family, life and hobby blog.  That is our life, so it is ok it worked out that way.  We have been busy busy.  Between both Ron and I returning to College this year, Brayden's soccer games, Boy Scouts, and play dates, we are always on the run.

We have so many new goals, and so many wonderful things on the horizon of our lives, but there is a lot of work to be done first in order to get there.  First...let's go back to Brayden. He just turned 6 years old.  WOW right?  I cant wrap my head around it either.  Man that child is amazing to me.  His kind heart and intuitive soul never ceases to amaze me.  He is extremely polite and considerate, and witty as hell!  Some of the things that come out of his mouth make me GUT giggle these days, and I cannot help but feel the most wonderful emotions every single time I look at him.  He wakes me up snuggling with me almost every morning, and his kisses and hugs instantly make a challenging day far less emotional for me.  He is my little rock.  I pray that I will be able to watch him grow into a strong, wise, kind and funny young man who will be sure to melt any lucky girls heart someday.

I can only imagine what his life has in store for him, and I try to imagine it often.  I picture him happy (because his disposition is VERY happy).  I picture him being strong yet sensitive, and I pray that his heart will be humble but fearless.  I picture him being a wonderful Daddy someday.  He always talks about having a sibling, or his own children, and all of the fun loving things he will do with his wife and kids.  Those stories make my smile from ear to ear.  Most of all I simply pray that he never has to endure or make decisions like Ron and I have had to make throughout the course of our lives.  I hope his roadblocks are minimal, but that he can move past them should they arrive, which I know they will.

Sometimes I wish I could just write him a column of advice in case something happens to me someday and I want him to have a book of advice from Mommy.  You never know what can happen, and what a great thing to have should he ever need it.  So, needless to say--I am back to blogging.

I have so many recent events to share and catch everyone up on.  I am also going to be documenting many of the fun projects I have been working on this last year.  Soon I will start doing tutorials as well.  This is our family/fun blog.  Hope to see all of my friends and bloggers back soon!
