Playing Baseball with Daddy

Over Memorial Day weekend, Ron took his nephew to the ball field to practice for awhile. Brayden was growing anxious because Daddy was on the field doing something without him. Needless to say, Ron ended up running the bases with Brayden, and he loved every second of it. Here are some funny pics Mommy took as I could not help myself. Brayden was in his glory. So was Daddy :-)

Getting ready to run the bases...

Ready...

Set...

And he was gone...so fast that he lost this...

Thank you Tiffany Shaw!

I asked Tiffany Shaw, and very good, old friend of mine if she could help me figure out how to create a blog page similar to the one she had done on her own blog. Without hesitation, she wrote me an email offering to design it, and take on the project herself! How thoughtful! She has always been someone I have admired as she is a very selfless, giving, and genuine natured spirit. She is just an absolutely beautiful person. I am both very excited and proud of this page she created for us...picking out a special quote for us all by herself, and insuring it was one that reflected our feelings and our name :-) Thank you Tiff for your hard work on this page, it is well....perfect ;-)

8 Months and a tooth...finally!

Brayden finally has a rigid end of a tooth coming in on the bottom left hand side of his mouth. I am so excited! I cannot believe it took this long! I don't have any pictures of it yet, but will be posting some soon.
Here are some fun pictures I took while on the way home from Florida. What a long and wonderful vacation it was. Thank you for everything, everyone...Brayden truly enjoyed himself, as did we. We miss everyone already. We will post lots of fun beach pictures this weekend...promise :-)
We are glad to be home though. We arrived to find beautiful tulips on the walkway up to the house, and everything in Jamestown is in bloom and green...very green. We can't wait to go back to visit though. Hugs to everyone!

"Ma-Ma" & "Ba-Ba"

Brayden is officially 7 months old. Two days prior to that he said "Ma-Ma" for the very first time. At first I thought I might not hear it again, but sure enough...he awoke the next morning saying it again...over and over again. When he wants my attention now...I hear "MMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAA-MA" very loudly. He giggles in delight when I respond! He is so funny. It has since moved into "Ba-Ba" as well. He knows two words! Yay! I am just so tickled he said "Ma-Ma" first. Daddy is working on him to hear the "Da-Da" but it has not happened yet. Soon I'm sure.

Almost 7 Months!!!

Brayden will be 7 months on the 5th. I cannot believe how much he has grown so fast, and how many things he is doing. He stands up holding onto me (without me holding him)... giggles to pieces over things, gets up on all fours (although he has not figured out the crawling thing yet)...and has justified reactions to things at his age. He loves to pull Mommys hair, and has even figured out how to grab those little wispy hairs so quickly and yank them with a smile on his face :-) Amazing. I cannot believe how time flies. He is such a great little boy. We go to Florida at the end of the month...more pics to come from that. I have been behind on the blog lately...so sorry. I promise I will keep it updated now! Love and Miss everyone. Hugs

Impatiently waiting for Spring to arrive...

Brayden and Daddy are impatiently awaiting Spring. Daddy wants to take him around in his backsack, to baseball games, parades, the park etc he just can't wait. When we had our big snow storm, they played inside in the backsack for awhile to see how Brayden would react to it. They both had tons of fun. This summer we are hosting two boys from another state that are part of the Babe Ruth Baseball Association while they come here to compete. We were asked by good friends of ours that are heavily involved in it each year, and also coach city rec ball with Ron. So...Daddy had to make sure Brayden would fit since we will be in the Babe Ruth parade, at all the games, etc etc for the week the boys are here. We are so excited...will keep you posted. Here are some pics of Bray and Daddy "playing", and one of Brayden where he is obviously displaying is dislikeness to Winter...

Almost 6 months...observing the SNOW!!!

Here are some pics of Brayden observing the big snow storm of last weekend....he was so fascinated with it. He is getting older everyday, it's so sad, but so wonderful at the same time. I'm not sure how to feel...anxious for another one, or sad that he is such a big boy already, or happy that is such a big big boy already...I'm so conflicted. LOL He is doing so much all the time. He started his stage one baby foods, and LOVES applesauce, Sweet Potato and Peas...others to come shortly. He is too funny.
