Georgia! Since Mom and Scott moved there, we have become increasingly interested in the area for a few reasons...one because Mom and Scott, Tara and the boys are there...two because Ron has been talking to a Police Department there for awhile now with a prospect of getting hired. We are taking a trip there at the end of this month so Ron can meet with Cartersville PD, and are hoping to find that it would be a great place to live. We have been researching housing, work, etc... and everything looks promising, so we will keep our fingers crossed. We will know more later, but for now...send us your thoughts and prayers and we try to figure out this next chapter in our lives. Once settled-who knows...maybe we will try for another little one soon...I'm just sayin...

Braydens Big Birthday Bash...
Here are some pictures of Brayden's birthday party. Mommy made his Moose-A-Moose cake and Zee cake with the help of Aunt Beth! We had bubbles on each table, oragami gift boxes for the guests with #1 candies inside, and two blowups in the yard for all the kids to play in, including one for Brayden all to himself. Mommy & Daddy passed around quilt pieces for everyone to write on with permanent marker any wishes for Brayden on his first Birthday which I will later make into a quilt for him to have forever. It was a lot of fun, and he did very well with his own little cake-although he started to look drunk from all the sugar. Fun stuff :-)

Babe Ruth Baseball baby...

This year Ron and I signed up to be an area host family for the Babe Ruth World Series! We have had tons of fun this last week! Brayden was in the parade downtown as a "future babe Ruth player" with a mohawk and sign on the stroller! Daddy drove his truck with all of the parents in tow, and we designed and built the float for the kids in the parade! This weekend is the championship game, it will be the end of a fun couple of weeks. Here are some pics of Brayden in his parade gear...

Funny little man...
Brayden...

Our Brayden is almost a year old! He is growing up into a wonderful little boy! Brayden almost always has a smile on his face, and loves it when we kiss his face over and over again. He loves to recieve and give "buzzerboos" and giggles incessantly at Moose A Moose and Zee on Noggin. He is the most ticklish little boy-ever! His feet, arms, legs, neck, back, and chin! He loves to ride in Daddys arms while playing Airplane around the house. He loves to have Daddy toss him into the air and gut giggles the whole time. Brayden has grown to truly love baseball, and almost forgets to blink as he stares at the games in awe. Brayden loves to eat with his fingers, eating puffs, cheerios, peas and mashed potatoes. His words to date are Mama-Dadda-Wow, uh-oh, ba-ba, good, no, (grandma is mmmmmA!) Num-while eating and other little things that sound like other words here and there. Brayden officially took his first real step on his own August 14th! He has been standing up and cruising on furniture for a few weeks now. Brayden has 7 teeth, and loves to bite! We are trying to get him to understand the importance of not biting currently. He is starting to understand what no means, but does not listen. He crawls all over the place until his knees are bright red! People comment on his happy and calm disposition, he hardly ever cries! We are so happy and proud of him. We love you Brayden-Mommy and Daddy.

Our visit with Aunt Jo in South Carolina

In May we went to SC to see Aunt Jo, Uncle Chuck, Candy and Dan and the kids, and spend a night with them on our way home from Florida. It was so much fun! It was the first time Aunt Jo had seen Bray in person and she gave him a tubby, new outfits, and his new favorite octopus toy he chews on all the time. We had dinner and visited, and enjoyed their beautiful, quiet new home in SC. It was fun to sit and talk with Dan and Candy, and Kaity and Nathan had tons of fun playing with Brayden as well. Can't wait to see them all again soon. We miss you guys tons!
